Our Story

Our desire is to provide a ‘home from home’ world for our children, creating an atmosphere whereby we are able to encourage the inquiring, expanding thoughts and imagination of the children in a safe and caring environment, through structured activities and play.

It is our view that the children who spend time at Ellingham House will benefit most from the positive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable encouragement of our staff, enabling them to better learn the fundamental skills and foundations to learning, as well as, to develop their social skills so that they are able to express self-control and understand how they should interact and treat others and the difference between right and wrong. Through example and caring guidance, we wish to impart good manners and social grace and a fully rounded preparation for the next stage of their educational development.
