Ellingham House is a Day Nursery in Ringwood, Hampshire.
Set idylically in a Georgian country house surrounded by 2.5 acres of lawns, paddocks, woodland and children's gardens, including our paddock with Monet the miniature Shetland pony, Milly and Splodge our Ryeland sheep, our small flock of chickens and Daisy our miniature dexter cow providing us with daily fresh eggs for the children to collect. The Aspirations of Ellingham House: Our desire is to provide a 'home from home' world for our children, creating an atmosphere whereby we are able to encourage the inquiring, expanding thoughts and imagination of the children in a safe and caring environment, through structured activities and play.
We were delighted to receive this most laudable accolade from Ofsted, one that places us in the top 2% of settings nationwide. Please refer to the full Inspection Report at the Ofsted website - www.ofsted.gov.uk and to assist you our post code is BH24 3PJ. In Ofsted's own words the accreditation of 'Outstanding' means:- "This applies to provision which is exceptional. It is highly effective at making sure that the outcomes for children are excellent. The childcare practice is exemplary. Nursery education is of such a high quality that three and four year old’s learning and achievement are exceptional in relation to their starting points and capabilities. The practice is so good that it is worth disseminating beyond the setting." Website by Mark Ridout |
