Such swops are entirely at the Principal’s discretion and in no way constitute a credit session for future use.
Pre-School & Conservatory Group Department: Those Entitled to NEG:
Our fee rates for the children who are eligible to receive the Nursery Education Grant (first receivable for the academic term after a child has attained three years of age) are equivalent to all the above fee rates.
Nursery Education Grant – (15 hours Universal Entitlement + 15 hours Extended Entitlement)
Ellingham House is able to offer the full 30 hours of government supported nursery attendance through the Nursery Education Grant Scheme.
We currently receive £4-47 (review in April) for each of those NEG hours from Hampshire County Council.
Parents will appreciate that this County decided rate does not cover the costs of the care provided here at Ellingham House.
Therefore, a discretional charge for additional hourly attendance outside of NEG term-time of anything up to £100-00 p.h. may be levied and is included in the termly invoice which details both N.E.G. hours and non NEG term-time attendance.
Once a child is eligible to receive NEG, fees have to be calculated on a termly rather than 12 monthly basis and for local authority compliance purposes we are required to provide a County formatted invoice to parents.
We fully appreciate that this County required format of invoice is significantly less clear than invoices received up to this point in your child’s attendance and we greatly regret same, however, for compliance purposes we have no choice.
Rest assured, that all your eligible grant monies received from County will be deducted from your child’s account.
Please do not hesitate to seek any clarification from either Hugh or Jan (accounts).
